Job Description

Sustainability specialist (3 to 5 years of experience) with BS in environmental sciences, environmental engineering or related field

MS in similar fields is a plus

LEED AP, or Estidama PCRS PQP, or Mostadam AP, or equivalent certification.

Provide technical input, advise and support the sustainability team on various project deliverables

• Experienced in applying sustainable certifications systems (LEED, ESTIDAMA, MOSTADAM, Ceequal, Envision, or equivalent) on mega-developments and projects, particularly in the Middle East.
• Provides innovative solutions to design team (water, energy, transport, etc) to support in meeting ambitious sustainability visions and targets of our clients
• Is familiar with the local regulatory requirements (UAE /KSA) particularly in relation to sustainability (Dubai Municipality requirements, SGBC101, Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, NCEC, etc.)
• Has experience in providing general sustainability and ESG advisory services
• Understands the multi-disciplinary nature of the work and participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver sustainability reports to quality and associated deliverables including calculations, drawings, sketches, as necessary to the work.
• Embodied carbon calculations and GHG accounting knowledge is a plus
