Job Description

• Under general supervision performs technical work in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Exhibits knowledge and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of their environmental specialty.
• Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures.
• Monitors and prevents hazards and diseases that could be found in the work area.
• Investigates accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in Safety, Health & Environment roles is mandatory.
• Aldar Approval is an absolute requirement for this position.
• Candidates must possess a relevant degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Additional Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements pertaining to environmental, health, and safety standards is essential.
• Proven track record in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety and health programmes is crucial.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting thorough accident investigations and hazard assessments is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are imperative for success in this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in occupational health and safety will be highly regarded.
• Experience in a similar industry sector is advantageous.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications for environmental and safety management is desirable.
