Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the material submittals and obtain the required approvals according to the applicable standards and project specifications.
- Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials at the job site.
- Coordinates work of consultants/ contractors for material testing.
- Maintains office files related to the project, material inspections and writes daily diaries.
- Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
- Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated in the work.
- Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems on construction materials, and reports to QAQC team with proposed solution.
- Collects, reviews and files Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags and other information relevant to the materials used.
- Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures
- Prepare plan for the onsite testing of materials in coordination with the QAQC Department and Construction team.
- Check material delivered are as approved and properly stored.
- Prepare and update the project finishing schedule with all material information which as per approved material submittal and related RFI and letter.
- Review the Sub-contractor’s material submittal as per BOQ and specification
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ Years of relevant work experience.
