Job Summary:

  • Provide detailed analytics of all inbound shipments and associated costs including reconciliation of each landed cost element with freight forwarder, custom records and company records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, update and finalize all Inbound shipments tracker with each freight forwarder for all entities on daily basis containing all necessary information as per defined template.
  • Prepare and finalize daily reconciliation of freight forwarder trackers with Movex.
  • Review Import declaration document (Bayan/BOE etc) to ensure completeness and accuracy of the information reflecting in the customs declaration.
  • Review and maintain record of all import documents (Bayans, B/Ls, Factory Invoices, FF invoices, Delivery Notes, GRNs etc.)  in the dedicated folder for audit purposes.
  • Prepare and finalize customs duty tracker for all inbound shipments with proof of custom duty payments linked with proper reference to customs report and Movex.
  • Ensure regular daily reconciliation of custom duty trackers with Movex.
  • Prepare and finalize imports reconciliation between Fasah (Customs reports) and Movex and Inquire and resolve all gaps on regular weekly basis.
  • Prepare and finalize transaction level analytics of actualization impacts related to Inbound Freight , Customs Duty and Outbound freight on weekly basis.
  • Review and finalize weekly reconciliation of freight forwarder balances and Movex.
  • Work closely with other finance team members to identify and address landed cost variances and inventory valuation and analysis.
  • Assist in developing supply chain analytics to make operational performance and trends visible. Ensure data completeness and integrity of all above analytics, reports and reconciliations. Analyze and interpret SC Key Performance Indicators and help in identifying areas for improvement and preparing action plans.

 

Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial), Accounting etc.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferably in Supply Chain Finance.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel
  • Good Communication and Analytic skills.
