Join our M42 Legal Trainee Program, a world-class initiative designed to develop the next generation of legal leaders. This program offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience, develop expertise in diverse practice areas, and build your career as a qualified English-law lawyer.

The program combines structured training, professional development, and practical work experience to prepare you for success in the global legal landscape.

Program Highlights

The program is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and begins with a 3-week intensive Readiness Program in London (March 24 – April 11), delivered in partnership with Flex Legal. This module is designed to enhance participants’ business acumen and develop essential soft skills, setting the foundation for their professional journey.

Over a period of two years, participants will gain qualifying work experience through rotational 6-month seats in Abu Dhabi, UAE across key legal disciplines, including Corporate Law, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Contracts and Negotiations, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and Intellectual Property. A key feature of the program is a 6-month secondment at a prestigious Magic Circle firm, providing unparalleled exposure to high-level legal practices and enriching the participants’ expertise.

The program also offers full support for Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) training and exams, covering comprehensive training and exam fees for SQE1 in Year 1 and SQE2 in Year 2.

To further ensure participants’ professional growth, the program incorporates monthly mentorship sessions and quarterly coaching, guided by the M42 Legal team, Flex Legal, and Magic Circle firms. This carefully structured and holistic program equips participants with the skills, experience, and support needed to thrive in the legal profession.
