Job Description
- Responsible for promoting health and wellness programs for patients. This role focuses on developing and offering customized health packages to the patients, communities and businesses. The role is responsible for organizing health awareness events and extend the services offered by the Hospital to the patients.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on a variety of wellness topics, including nutrition, stress management, fitness, sleep hygiene, and mental health.
- Collaborate with in house healthcare providers to create health promotion strategies based on the needs of the hospital population.
- Distribute health-related resources and materials to the hospital staff and patients.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments for staff, patients, and community members (e.g., blood pressure checks, BMI, cholesterol screenings).
- Analyse health assessment data to identify trends or areas that require improvement.
- Offer personalized health coaching or referrals to appropriate healthcare services.
- Work closely with the hospital’s medical and administrative teams to integrate wellness strategies within the hospital’s broader health initiatives.
- Collaborate with external vendors or community organizations to provide resources and wellness programs.
- Maintain accurate records of wellness program participation, health screenings, and other related data.
- Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of wellness programs and suggest improvements.
- Ensure all wellness activities comply with hospital policies and regulations.
- Organize wellness-related events, such as health fairs, fitness challenges, and stress-relief activities.
- Coordinate guest speakers, fitness instructors, and healthcare experts to participate in wellness-related events.
- Developing Wellness activities for patients, health checkups, treatment packages to increase revenue of the Hospital and Clinics.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in health promotion, wellness coordination, or a related healthcare role. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate wellness programs.
- Knowledge of health promotion principles, nutrition, exercise, and mental health management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and wellness program management tools.
- Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPR and First Aid certified (may be required).
- Health coaching or fitness certification is a plus.
