ELV Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced ELV Estimation Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience in estimating, designing, and costing low-voltage systems (ELV) projects. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in ELV systems, be highly organized, and be capable of providing accurate cost estimations for system installations and projects. The Estimation Engineer will work closely with project managers, consultants, and vendors to ensure that all technical and financial aspects of the projects are aligned and accurately estimated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimation and Costing: Prepare detailed cost estimates for ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, structured cabling, public address systems, and building management systems (BMS).
• Technical Analysis: Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to provide accurate and competitive pricing.
• Quantity Take-off: Perform quantity take-offs and assess labor, material, and equipment requirements to generate precise estimates.
• Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
• Tender Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals by compiling necessary technical and commercial information.
• Cost Control: Track and monitor project costs, identifying any potential variations or discrepancies between estimates and actual costs during project execution.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the estimation phase and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Client Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to clarify requirements and ensure the accurate understanding of scope and specifications.
• Site Visits: Conduct site surveys to gather relevant information for accurate cost estimation and project planning.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure that estimates align with project timelines and objectives.
• Report Generation: Prepare and submit detailed reports on project costs, estimates, and any significant changes or variations.

Qualification – Electrical Engineering Graduate

Experience – Minimum 5 years of experience in similar field in trading industry
