About the job

Position Overview:

Primary objective is to ensure the seamless implementation, operation and evolution of the commercial system and its sub-component, which is fundamental to our sales and distribution processes.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Oversee the proposed or planned commercial system, ensuring its accurate operation, system configuration, and performance optimization.
  • Analyze commercial system data to monitor passenger activity, assess system performance, and identify opportunities for enhancements and cost-efficiencies.
  • Continuously improve the commercial system’s performance and functionalities including integration, ticketing solutions, and payment gateways.
  • Ensure that the commercial system data is secure, and transactions are processed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Build and maintain business requirements of the commercial system releases.
  • Coordinate/manage integration of the commercial systems with the other systems such as the CRM system, payment gateway, yield management etc.…
  • Lead the QA and system acceptance of the commercial system releases.
  • Responsible for the commercial system internal SLAs
  • Manage and enforce SLA with vendors
  • Generate reports and analysis related to commercial system operation, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the required trainings to end-users, Service Delivery team, and commercial system Operators on system usage and troubleshooting.
  • Plan and execute system maintenance and upgrades to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Manage day to day relationship with the commercial system vendor.
  • Coordinate with vendors, payment provide / gateways, and internal stakeholders to optimize the commercial system operations.
  • Facilitate through the contractors to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system procedures, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Address and resolve technical issues promptly, providing expert support to system users and stakeholders.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in commercial system or AFC system management or a related role.
  • Proficiency in commercial system / AFC system software and technology.
  • Proven experience in vendor management.

Other Skills:

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and training skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on system optimization.
