Audiologist

Role overview:
The Audiologist role involves examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing, balance, and other ear-related disorders. The role includes conducting hearing tests, recommending assistive devices, and ensuring high-quality patient care in compliance with M42 and DOH/DHA standards.

•Examine patients to assess hearing and speech/language disorders.
•Conduct hearing evaluations, tests, and medical examinations.
•Develop hearing loss screening programs.
•Plan and conduct treatment in collaboration with healthcare teams.
•Recommend, fit, and dispense assistive devices (e.g., hearing aids, cochlear implants).
•Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
•Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
•Participate in research and conferences on audiology topics.

A Bachelor’s in Audiology, Speech and Hearing (2 years experience) or Speech-Language Pathology (1 year experience) is required; a Master’s in Audiology is preferred. Requires 1-2 years of clinical experience and a valid DOH/DHA license.
